Understanding Phase Change Materials
Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are substances that absorb and release thermal energy during the process of melting and solidifying. This thermal storage capacity allows them to regulate temperature by storing heat when the environment is warm and releasing it when temperatures drop.

Optimize energy efficiency
Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are advanced materials that help buildings stay cool during the day and warm at night by absorbing and releasing heat as needed. They work by capturing extra warmth when temperatures rise and releasing it later when it gets cooler, which reduces the need for heating and cooling systems. This natural temperature regulation makes buildings more comfortable, energy-efficient, and sustainable without relying heavily on air conditioning or heating.

Climasel panels utilize a proprietary biobased phase change material (PCM) developed by the Carbon Team, providing 240 J/g of energy storage. This PCM is optimized for a 24°C activation point to suit Azerbaijan’s climate and can be adjusted for any geographical region. Through a specialized integration process, the PCM is embedded into a cellulosic and graphite matrix, enabling efficient and eco-friendly temperature control tailored to local climates.
Using advanced cross-linking technology, we’ve embedded the biobased phase change material (PCM) into a durable polymer matrix, creating form-stable panels for walls and ceilings. This ensures no leakage during phase transitions and allows for versatile shapes and designs. Currently, our panels are available in standard 30x30 cm and 60x60 cm ceiling sizes, with options for custom wall dimensions
